Materials and build-up
Options include PMMA/acrylic, IRR/Heatstop acrylic and polycarbonate. Dome build-ups range from one to four skins, plus TOPtermo configurations. Select material and build-up according to room use, daylight and thermal requirements.
Upstands and opening options
GRP upstands have standard heights of 15, 30 and 50 cm; metal and special upstands are also available. Choose the dimensions and roof connection together with the dome, STELUX unit or continuous rooflight.
Daylight, daily ventilation, roof access and smoke exhaust require an appropriate configuration. Ordinary ventilation does not replace a purpose-designed smoke-exhaust system.
Does Ug describe the complete installed unit?
No. The listed catalogue Ug values describe the specified dome build-up or glazing. The frame, upstand, roof junction and installation also affect complete-system performance.
Is smoke exhaust the same as ordinary ventilation?
No. Smoke exhaust is part of the fire-safety design and needs a dedicated configuration, activation method and corresponding documentation.
Documentation
Documentation must match the selected product, dimensions, build-up and intended use. Send those details so we can check which current documents are available for your configuration.
The detailed Slovenian technical centre contains the catalogue-derived tables and explanations. Their stated Ug values apply to the described build-ups, not to the complete installed system.
Prepare an enquiry
- Building type and whether this is a new build, replacement or renovation.
- Available dimensions, roof build-up and photographs obtained safely.
- Required function, quantity and any project requirements.
Final dimensions, compatibility, installation scope and documentation are confirmed for the selected product and building; service location and availability are agreed per project.
