POS plastika manufactures skylight domes, continuous rooflights and products made from acrylic and polycarbonate. We help you match the product, dimensions and opening function to your building’s requirements. Our experience dates back to 1968, with an organisational restructuring in 1992 marking an important stage in the company’s development.

More about our development and production
Our manufacturing programme includes convex and concave mirrors in acrylic or polycarbonate, skylight domes and continuous rooflights, promotional displays and vacuum metallising of plastic components for the automotive, cosmetics and furniture industries. The catalogue specifies CE marking to EN 1873 for the skylight domes described. EN 12101-2:2003 is cited for dedicated natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilator versions, not for every opening rooflight. Confirm the applicable declarations, performance data and instructions for the selected product and project before ordering.
Recent investments include advanced material-cutting equipment, including laser and CNC cutters, together with the development of a certified corrosion-resistant stainless-steel mirror.

From product selection to installation and maintenance
The dome is only one part of the roof opening. The opening, upstand, roof build-up and intended opening function must work together. The POS plastika catalogue also covers installation, inspection, maintenance and refurbishment.
Installation and refurbishment
Our support programme includes rooflight installation for industrial, commercial and residential buildings. Existing rooflights can be inspected, maintained or refurbished. The scope, location and availability of the work are agreed for each project.
Opening mechanisms and servicing
The catalogue includes inspection and servicing of smoke and heat exhaust mechanisms, with replacement of components using original spare parts. Provide identification details, available documentation and a description of the problem. Fire-safety systems must be handled by appropriately qualified specialists.
